3 Important Tips to Start Your Consignment Movement

Situation: While grabbing a pair of jeans packed tightly in my closet, a tall stack of bags fall to the ground. Balenciaga in white dustbag, Fendi, Chanel reissue flap, and Guccis are all over the place. I have a problem.

It was back on 2016

As you know, we started our consignment service on 2017. Above situation was one of the few reasons why. Also, one of our way to support green living movement. How was the respond? GOOD! Getting better and better after times. We always encourage everyone to join our consignment, cause it’s smart and it’s sustainable. Still insist that you are the-keeper-type? Try consign a bag, and you’ll be amazed how much water and energy can be saved.

If many of you want to consign, but do not know where to start. Here’s a few tips to get started:

#1 Do your research

Identify which pieces that retain value, so you can invest confidently. Consign anytime you are ready. We offer an online submission concept, you will know how much you will earn and how much it will sold. All clear, no heart-ache involved.

#2 Choose smart

Keep what you love and sparks joy anytime you wear it. Historical and emotional factors can be a problem, too. But sometimes finding them a new home is better than keep them inside a drawer, end up in a landfill.

#3 Consign regularly

We are lucky to live in a country without 4 seasons to live in. You can do a spring cleaning anytime. For example, try to remember how many times did you wear those light and bright colored bags in last 6 months? If you only wear them 1-2 times max (and anytime you wear, all you could think about is how not to make it dirty..), then it’s the right time to let go. Do it regularly, the more-the better.

We love Mother Earth and we love fashion. Let the planet be happy by making your unused bags get adopted and let it live a little longer. It’s never too late to start consign. Once you start, you’ll get hooked. Trust me!
